Traditional whole-tree metrics often obscure critical localized errors. This study introduces a novel 12-zone refined evaluation framework, vertically segmenting the canopy into upper, middle, and lower layers and horizontally into quadrants. At 2.6 m IH, reverse driving caused a dramatic increase in Relative Error (RE) for the upper layer (167.65%) and lower layer (88.24%) compared to forward driving. This phenomenon is primarily due to mechanical factors.
