TCM-LearnAR: A Gamified Learning Application Based on AR and 3D Interactive Technology for Enhancing Cultural Heritage Education in Traditional Chinese Medicine
This paper introduces TCM-LearnAR, an interactive learning system leveraging Augmented Reality (AR), gamification, and 3D interactive technology to enhance Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) education and cultural heritage preservation. For instance, interest scores increased significantly (Mdn 6.0 vs. 2.5), and perceived effectiveness also saw substantial gains (Mdn 5.0 vs. 4.0). The system also achieved an excellent usability score of 86.7, indicating strong user acceptance and ease of use. These results underscore the transformative potential of AR and gamification in complex medical education.
